We collect only what’s needed to quote and arrange your service. Exact addresses are shared only with your confirmed provider and never shown publicly.

Terms

Dealhood is a marketplace connecting households with independent local businesses. Group prices apply only to the agreed service scope and are set by suppliers.

Cancellations

Expressions of interest can be withdrawn at any time at no cost. Cancellation terms for paid bookings are shown before you pay.

Provider terms (draft v1)

Providers are independent businesses responsible for their own insurance, tax, licences, staff and legal arrangements. An ABN alone does not determine contractor status, and these terms will be reviewed by a lawyer before launch. Joining Dealhood does not guarantee work. Providers set their own prices, approve or decline each group discount tier and are never required to accept a booking.

Provider payments and commission

Joining is free. Dealhood charges a commission (currently 8%) on the discounted amount the customer pays for completed eligible bookings. No subscription fees. Fee timing, refunds, chargebacks and cancellations will be set out before any payments are taken. Bank details are collected only later, through a secure payment provider.

Service quality and disputes

If a customer raises a concern, Dealhood will contact both parties, review the job details and work towards a fair outcome, such as a re-clean or a partial refund, in line with Australian Consumer Law.

Suburb, postcode and council boundary information is derived from Vicmap Admin, © State of Victoria (Department of Transport and Planning), licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). Dealhood has processed this data to match suburbs to postcodes and councils.
